Domination
According to the Aurelian dictionary, domination is the sovereignly exercised authority; authority, sovereignty, exercise of power over individuals or groups; domain. Over time, there have been various means of domination of one population group over others. In capitalism, for example, there are numerous discourses of domination. One is globalization, which makes it understand that there is a world unity when, in fact, the rich countries are the most benefited, while the poorest countries remain in this situation. Another example runs through historical Africa after the arrival of Europeans. At first, there was a commercial domination, changing the entire social hierarchy in Africa, where slave traders became the ruling elite. In the 19th century, the form of domination changed, becoming mainly territorial.
